Kind Consultancy is working with an alternative Financial Services firm which is currently seeking a Mobile Underwriter to join them in a full-time, permanent role paying up to £70,000 dependent on experience.

Based in the North of England, the Mobile Underwriter will travel to intermediaries across the region to assess complex Buy-to-Let applications, with other key responsibilities including:

• Working closely with the Lending Director, Operations Manager and Sales team to build solid working relationships with key broker firms
• Maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Underwriters, Surveyors, Legal and Credit Risk.
• Working quickly to manage a pipeline of cases through to offer whilst maintaining risk appetite and quality
• Dealing with queries and enquiries effectively, accurately, and professionally, consistently delivering excellent customer service

Our ideal candidate for the Mobile Underwriter opportunity:

• Demonstrates a solid understanding of complex BTL mortgage products, underwriting processes, and risk assessment
• Is an initiative-taker, working well independently and as part of a team
• Is able to maintain records and documentation with excellent attention to detail
• Has a proven track record of building and maintaining good working relationships with brokers and other parties
• Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
