Kind Consultancy is working with a well-established and respected Retail Financial Services organisation which is currently seeking a Loan Servicing Manager to join them in a full-time, permanent role focussing on Bridging Finance loans, paying circa £45,000 with a hybrid work model based in their Buckinghamshire offices.
The Loan Servicing Manager will manage a portfolio of bridging and specialist mortgage loans, ensuring proactive servicing, arrears management, and exceptional customer service in line with company policy and FCA regulations, with key responsibilities including:
- Overseeing the full lifecycle of bridging and buy-to-let loans, from post-completion servicing to redemption.
- Monitoring loan performance, including early arrears and watchlist accounts, taking action to resolve missed payments.
- Preparing and processing refurbishment drawdown requests, extensions, and redemption statements.
- Delivering proactive customer service to borrowers and third parties via phone, email, and letter.
- Contacting all new borrowers prior to their first payment to ensure awareness of payment dates and amounts.
- Investigating and resolving payment difficulties, working with customers to bring accounts up to date.
- Identifying and reporting trends in arrears and portfolio performance.
- Assisting with special servicing and recovery processes as required.
- Creating welcome letters for new bridging customers and reminders when loans reach end of term.
- Proactively managing pre-arrears and watchlist loans, including assessments and appropriate borrower contact.
- Issuing redemption statements where required for bridging loans.
Our ideal candidate for the Bridging Finance Loan Servicing Manager position:
- Has experience in mortgage servicing, arrears management and/or portfolio management within Bridging Finance & buy-to-let.
- Has a background of work within FCA-regulated environments.
- Demonstrates a strong customer-centric mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Has a data-driven approach to their work, with a focus on risk management.
