Kind Consultancy is working with a exciting, fast-growing Financial Services brand which is currently seeking a BDM based in the West Midlands to join their Commercial Mortgages arm in a full time, permanent role.

The Commercial Mortgages BDM will deliver a high-quality relationship management service to prospective and existing customers and Commercial Finance brokers, with key responsibilities including:

• Originating and delivering Commercial Mortgage lending
• Building and relationship managing a portfolio of Commercial Finance introducers in the West Midlands
• Encouraging, managing, reviewing and progressing applications from introducers from enquiry to completion
• Collaborating across areas of the business to ensure the provision of a seamless and professional service
• Supporting lending applications in line with the Credit Policy and Credit Appetite.
• Establishing and managing objectives and a personal development plan.
• Delivering the regional Business Plan and targeted lending volumes.

For the Commercial Mortgages BDM opportunity, we're looking for candidates who:

• Have a background in Business Development within the Commercial Broker market and Commercial Property lending
• Possess strong knowledge of the current Commercial Finance introducer market, Commercial Property lending and the banking products associated with SME businesses.
• Are able to work with introducers and customers to structure new Commercial Mortgage lending proposals and write credit applications
• Has a proven track record of generating lending income opportunities while effectively managing credit risk and providing exceptional customer service
• Has an in-depth understanding of SME banking and lending across commercial asset classes.
• Has substantial past experience of analysing business fundamentals, financial accounts, and related information to understand the underlying cashflows of a business in detail
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and develop lasting business relationships.
