Kind Consultancy is working with a leading Motor Finance business which is currently seeking a Retail Operations Change Management Specialist to join them on a 6-month contract basis based in their Berkshire offices, with a flexible work model allowing for up to 2 days per week of working from home.
Working with the Retail Operations leadership team, the Change Management Specialist will focus on actioning Regulatory Change, ensuring that Retail Operations is compliant and resilient, with key responsibilities including:
- Delivering first line monitoring insight, identifying trends and driving improvements in quality, training and operational practice.
- Supporting regulatory compliance across Retail Operations, translating FCA, Consumer Duty and consumer finance requirements into controlled, well-governed operational change.
- Maintaining effective document management and governance of policies, procedures and supporting documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, version control and regulatory alignment.
- Supporting end-to-end delivery of operational, process and system change, including logging, tracking, testing and stakeholder coordination using structured change tools.
- Identifying and supporting continuous improvement and innovation initiatives to enhance efficiency, consistency and customer outcomes.
- Developing and supporting meaningful management information, interpreting data to identify risk, trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting the design, maintenance and deployment of training aligned to regulatory change, Quality Assurance findings and operational risk, ensuring learning is embedded into practice.
Our ideal candidate for the Change Management Specialist - Retail Operations contract:
- Has experience supporting training, quality, change and/or process driven activity within an operational environment.
- Has a track record of successfully interpreting and actioning regulatory change within an operational environment.
- Has worked in regulated financial services environments.
- Is familiar with change management tools (e.g. JIRA or similar)
- Has past exposure to quality assurance, monitoring or audit activity and experience of contributing to reporting or MI development.
- Has a good awareness of the Financial Conduct Authority’s regulatory framework and Consumer Duty.
- Demonstrates strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.
- Maintains a consistently high level of attention to detail, particularly in relation to documentation and governance.
- Is able to communicate clearly with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Has a proactive, improvement-focused mindset.
