Kind Consultancy is working with a large Motor Finance business which is currently seeking an Operations Manager to join them in a full-time, permanent role based in their Manchester office paying up to £60,000, with a hybrid work model.
The Operations Manager will oversee a number of Collections and Customer Contact team leaders, with key responsibilities including:
- Mentoring and managing Team Leaders to achieve departmental key performance indicators.
- Building and embedding an inspiring and motivating customer-centric culture.
- Delivering regular feedback to Team Leaders to support their development.
- Identifying developmental gaps in the department and devising appropriate remedial action.
- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Collections and Customer Service.
- Sharing and presenting key information to stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross functional teams to optimise workflows and support the Collections and Customer Service strategy.
- Contributing to the drafting and implementing policies and procedures.
Our ideal candidate for the Operations Manager position:
- Has proven experience in a Collections leadership role within a regulated Financial Services environment.
- Has a strong understanding and knowledge of collections strategies and best practice.
- Is able to analyse data and make data driven decisions.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrates excellent leadership skills
